MMC Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer

Murfreesboro Medical Clinic & SurgiCenter is pleased to announce the addition of Matthew C. Stearns as the Chief Financial Officer of the clinic and its associated operations.

Stearns is a native of Shelbyville, Tennessee. He ventured north, where he earned hisundergraduate degree in economics from Harvard University. Stearns later earnedhis M.B.A in finance and J.D. in law from Vanderbilt University’s Owen GraduateSchool of Management and Vanderbilt University Law School, respectively.

Before joining MMC, he spent the previous seven years working in the telecommunications industry, where he managed the development of more than $300 million worth of critical infrastructure projects across the United States for one of the nation’s leading publicly-traded infrastructure companies.

Stearns lives in Murfreesboro with his wife Ashley, who isan attorney with Coleman & Stearns law firm in Murfreesboro, and their twosons. He and his family are members ofNew Vision Baptist Church, and they are active volunteers at ProvidenceChristian Academy among other organizations in the community. In his free time, he enjoys spending timewith family, golfing, and reading.
