Our Philosophy and Practice
As managers of your total health, we often consult with other MMC specialists to determine the best course of treatment. When this is necessary, that specialist is usually just down the hall. At Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, specialists in Ophthalmology, Urology, General, and Vascular Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Otolaryngology (ENT), Neurology, Pediatric Neurology, Radiology and Podiatry are available at a moments notice to provide consultation or treatment as needed.
When specialized diagnostic services are needed, the full facilities of the Murfreesboro Medical Clinic are available to our patients. Our in-house laboratory and radiological facilities offer our patients a unique level of comprehensive care and convenience. When you are ill, or when swift diagnosis can provide peace of mind, it is important to have rapid access to information about your condition. Our diagnostic capabilities allow us to provide patients with a complete diagnosis and test results at the time of their visit.
We recognize that ones illness does not always come at a convenient time. Therefore, using our group coverage system, we are available to meet our patient’s needs 24 hours a day, 365 days per year for emergency care. In case of life-threatening emergencies, proceed immediately to the nearest Emergency Room or call 911 for immediate assistance. St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital has full-time Emergency Room physicians who will evaluate you and provide immediate treatment as needed. If your condition requires admission to the hospital, the Emergency Department will contact your physician or the physician on-call for our group.
In the interest of our patient’s health, prescriptions cannot be refilled after hours. We must have access to your complete records or see you in the office prior to prescribing medicine.
We offer the option of treatment for acute adult illness or injury without an appointment. The walk-in clinic is staffed by our well-trained Nurse Practitioners.
