MMC Welcomes New Podiatrist Dr. Toren

Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, PA is proud to announce the addition of Adam Toren, DPM. Dr. Toren is Board Qualified and specializes in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Toren received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego in 2005. He earned his Master of Biomedical Sciences from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL in 2007. In 2009, he earned his Master of Business Administration from Barry University Andreas School of Business as well as his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Toren completed his residency at the Highlands-Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Podiatric Medicine and Surgery facility in Denver, CO in 2012. Dr. Toren is proficient in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery.

MMC Podiatrist, Dr. Anthony Wright, stated, “Dr. Toren is incredibly motivated and enthusiastic about his new position here. His eagerness for achievement and focus on patient well-being will make him a great addition to our Podiatry staff.” Before coming to the Clinic, Dr. Toren served a three year surgical residency at Highlands-Presbyterian/St. Luke’s in Denver, CO. His residency included training in private practice, clinics, wound care, surgery, research, and much more.

MMC President, Dr. Jimmy Carter, said, “We work hard to attract quality people like Dr. Toren so we can continue to meet the medical needs of Murfreesboro, Rutherford County and surrounding areas. We look forward to his contributions to the Clinic and the community.” 

When he’s not working, Dr. Toren spends most of his time outdoors playing sports, fishing, hiking, and running. Dr. Toren plans to reside in Murfreesboro.
