Continuing Care with MMC through Cigna Connect

Continuing Care with Murfreesboro Medical Clinic through Cigna Connect Murfreesboro, TN: Effective January 1, 2017, Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and SurgiCenter physicians will be part of the Cigna Connect Network. Many Middle Tennessee residents received notice that they would no longer be covered through their individual policies when some insurance companies chose to stop offering plans through the ACA Marketplace. 

 MMC took the action to ensure that patients can continue to access care with our physicians and at our facility without disruption. While some patients can choose other individual policies, those patients who obtain coverage through the ACA Marketplace must choose a Cigna Connect Network Plan during the open enrollment period. 

 �Insurance changes can be complicated and very disruptive for patients,� said Joey Peay, CEO of Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and SurigCenter. �Continuing to provide care to our current patients is our top priority.�
