New! Digital Mammography

In December 2010, MMC installed two Digital Mammography units for our facilities, one at Highland Avenue and the other at our Garrison Drive location. These digital mammography units capture an electronic picture of the breast in digital format, providing exceptional image quality and improving the efficiency of exams, ultimately giving us the ability to increase patient comfort and throughput.

Our technologists trained on these units last week and are now performing studies in half the time as with our previous equipment. We are very excited to offer this service to our patients and as always will strive to provide quality healthcare to our patients.
