FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Murfreesboro, Tennessee:  Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, PA announces that Tanna Richards is the recipient for the Nurse of the Year award.

All over the world, the healthcare industry is celebrating the International Year of the Nurse, paying homage to the founder of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale, on the centennial anniversary of her death. In Middle Tennessee, thirteen nurses received top honors at the March of Dimes Nurse of the Year Awards held December 9th at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs. This inaugural event recognized nurses who embody leadership, compassion and excellence in patient care across all specialties.

The Nurse of the Year Selection Committee reviewed applications across 13 categories. More than 75 nominees emerged, all representing the March of Dimes vision for a healthier, stronger generation of babies and families. One of our very own Internal Medicine Nurses received the award.
