Dr.Chesney Wins Clinical Excellence Award

Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and SurgiCenter is proud of Dr. Brad Chesney, who was voted as the Clinical Excellence Award recipient. The Clinical Excellence Award winner is recognized for their efforts in bringing new skills and techniques to the medical community, serving in a teaching role for the medical community, and the high opinion and regard from fellow physicians.

Dr. Brad Chesney, an obstetrics and gynecology specialist, received the Clinical Excellence Award for his efforts in enhancing the way care is provided to women in Middle Tennessee. Dr. Chesney is a robot certified physician who uses the da Vinci surgical treatment to provide a less invasive surgery with a quicker recovery time. He has remained focused on finding ways to increase patient satisfaction by exploring different options for providing care. Dr. Chesney is the first physician to have his surgery broadcast live via Facebook and Twitter.

Dr. Chesney earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

Dr. Chesney is a selected member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He has received the Texas Legislative Award for Academic Excellence and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Chesney is a highly respected member of his community and an active member of First United Methodist Church. He resides in Murfreesboro with his wife KJ and 2 daughters.
