ABOUT DR. BEAIRD

As a general surgeon, Dr. Beaird has a wide range of clinical interests. He was one of the founding partners of the Comprehensive Breast Center here at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic. He serves as the medical director of the Wound Care Center at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He is the Chief of the Department of Surgery at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital and began adding robotic procedures in 2010 at Ascension St. Thomas.

Dr. David Beaird received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in 1995 and received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis in 1999. He went onto Atlanta Medical Center where he completed his general surgery residency in 2004. There, David met his wife, Maria, and they were married shortly before moving to Murfreesboro in 2004. They have two daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Anna Grace, who keep them very busy. Otherwise, David and Maria enjoy attending sporting events, traveling, and working with their church.
