More than a Delivery

Dr. Lauren Christman with Bibiana and Rosalina

Two Sisters. Two Babies. One Doctor. One Unforgettable Day.

Tiffany Lopez and her younger sister, Marissa Davis, always joked about being pregnant together one last time. After Tiffany’s fourth and final embryo transfer, they laughed about the possibility, and then it actually happened.

What followed wasn’t just two pregnancies. It was a shared journey.

Appointments together. Side-by-side laughter in exam rooms. Comparing notes on cravings, discomfort, and everything in between. And through it all, Dr. Lauren Christman was right there with them, listening, guiding, and even entertaining the idea of delivering them side by side.

As their due dates approached, it became clear their babies might arrive close together. No one imagined just how close.

At a shared appointment, both sisters knew something felt different. Tiffany was dealing with pain from a previous incision, and Marissa’s fluid levels were fluctuating while baby made herself comfortable right in her ribs. Dr. Christman took the time to evaluate both of them, talk through what was happening, and make the call. It was time.

What happened next happened quickly.

Calls to the hospital. A rush home to grab bags. Before they knew it, they were back together again in triage, side by side.

With Dr. Christman leading the way, Tiffany and Raul Lopez welcomed baby Bibiana at 5:31pm, alongside big siblings Valentino, Damiano, and Giuliana. Just three and a half hours later, Marissa and Mathew Reveles welcomed baby Rosalina at 9:08 pm, with big brother Luciano stepping into his new role.

They experienced it all together.

Pregnancy. Triage. Delivery day nerves. Recovery. Postpartum.

Hospital rooms side by side, just like they had imagined.

Not many people get a story like this.

Two sisters. Two babies. One doctor. One unforgettable day.

That's more than a delivery.
