ABOUT

Paten is originally from the Middle Tennessee area, and he has been a patient at MMC since birth. He is excited to offer the same great care he has received at MMC for almost thirty years. Paten's nursing experience has primarily been in the inpatient setting, specifically in the emergency department. He is excited to be practicing in the outpatient setting as he loves establishing relationships with patients and working together to meet patient goals. Paten earned his undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and his graduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University. 

Paten currently lives just outside of Murfreesboro with his wife and daughter. Paten and his family are very active in their church, and Paten and his wife have been on many medical and non-medical mission trips. Paten and his family love spending time with family, doing anything outdoors, and traveling.
