MMC Welcomes Drs. Langworthy and Eller

Growing to Meet the Healthcare Needs of Our Community

In July, two leading groups of local physicians joined forces to serve our growing community. Warren Langworthy, M.D., Scott Eller, M.D., their associates, and the staff of Middle Tennessee Family Medicine joined Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and SurgiCenter.

“Over the years, MMC has considered opportunities to reach out to other physicians in the community to join MMC, and Dr. Langworthy’s name always came up,” noted Joey Peay, MMC’s Chief Executive Officer.  “He and Dr. Eller have such similar practice styles and a commitment to clinical excellence for their patients just like our Internal and Family Medicine Physicians. It just made too much sense!”  Peay continued, “When the pandemic began last spring, we began working with Drs. Langworthy and Eller to help get COVID-19testing for their patients.  Things took off from there and ultimately resulted in their decision to join MMC.”

Dr. Warren Langworthy has maintained an independently-managed family medicine practice in Murfreesboro, TN since 1989. Over the years, his practice saw great growth, and in 2006, Dr. Scott Eller joined his practice. Growth has not slowed down in recent years as they have added several nurse practitioners and physician assistants to help care for their growing patient base.

"Over the past 32 years, our practice has seen amazing growth, which we have managed independently; however, now is the time for us to make a change to help us accommodate this growth and the responsibilities that come with it," noted Warren Langworthy, M.D.  "I am grateful and humbled by the opportunity to become part of MMC and ask our faithful patients to accompany us with patience and love as we move into our new stage of medicine," he said.

Drs. Langworthy and Eller, as well as their nurse practitioners and physician assistants, will continue to practice at the same location, 237 W Northfield Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN.  It will become the MMC Northfield office, with a new phone number, 615-867-8010.
