MMC receives Health Care Leader AwardMMC receives Health Care Leader Award

The RCAAC (which is now Journeys in Community Living) just celebrated their 35th Anniversary, which included an awards presentation. Murfreesboro Medical Clinic received the �Health Care Leader Award.� There were approximately 300 people that attended the event at Doubletree Hotel. Journeys in Community Living�s (RCAAC) belief is �All persons with intellectual disabilities regardless of the severity of their disabilities should have the supports necessary: to live healthy and secure lives, to work at meaningful jobs which they enjoy, to live in homes of their own with whom they choose, to have friends and other relationships in their lives, and to participate in and contribute to their communities�. They recognized the clinic for its support and continual service in healthcare to the community.
