ABOUT LISA

Lisa was born in IL and developed a love for medicine at an early age. Initially starting for veterinary medicine due to her love of animals, she changed to human medicine due to her brother's health concerns. She was intrigued by the nurses who helped take care of him and she was one of his primary caregivers from an early age. Lisa started to change her classes to pre-medicine classes. After further studying, she felt the nursing paradigm was more fitting to her personality and professional goals. Once she graduated from the University of Illinois, she proceeded to go to Vanderbilt University in an advanced bridge program and earned her MSN as an adult nurse practitioner.

Lisa has lived in the Murfreesboro area for over 20 years. She loves spending time with her daughters and dog. They enjoy being outside and playing games together.
