ABOUT DR. FASSINGER

Dr. Fassinger grew up in Nashville with a tight-knit family. She went to Vanderbilt for college where she studied Biomedical Engineering & Russian. She decided to attend Medical School where she met her now husband, Ben, who is finishing up his Neurology residency & fellowships. They rescued their first puppy near the start of med school and has been the light of their lives thus far. They are currently expecting a little one, who will become the second light of their lives.

In her free time, Dr. Fassinger enjoys getting outside with her family on walks, watching soccer, cooking for loved ones, attempting to garden, and working on crafts. One of her favorite parts of family medicine is developing long term relationships with patients where they work together to make long-lasting lifestyle changes for the patients. One of her favorite parts in residency was leading a teaching kitchen for patients.
