What Does an Allergist/Immunologist Do?
Allergists, also referred to as Immunologists, are physicians specifically trained to diagnose, treat, and manage asthma, allergies, and immunologic disorders. These conditions affect individuals of all ages, with symptoms ranging from very rare to very common.
Because of the spectrum of conditions in all age groups, Allergists/Immunologists are required to complete an additional five years of training beyond medical school. Certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI), Dr. John Kolisnyk's extensive training and experience in allergic illnesses and immunologic conditions makes him well qualified to care for the needs of patients.
