The Pediatricians at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic adhere to the highest quality standards for children's healthcare. All of our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics (which means that our doctors have undergone specialty training and passed examinations related to the care of children). We also maintain membership in the American Academy of Pediatrics and participate in continuing medical education programs. Treating children from birth to 18 years of age, our physicians provide both sick and well-child check-ups.

Growing up, physically and emotionally, is a process that requires nurturing and care from birth through young adulthood. Our philosophy of care is centered on a devotion to provide the highest level of care for our patients. This is exemplified by the fact that each of our physicians is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Our philosophy of care is also centered on the knowledge that total pediatric and adolescent care today is much more than flu shots and runny noses. In fact, today's care is oriented towards keeping your child well... physically, emotionally, and behaviorally.

MMC is accredited as a Patient-Centered Medical Home recognizing that we deliver the five core functions and attributes of primary health care: comprehensive care, patient-centered, coordinated care, accessible services and quality and safety

As "managers" of your child's total health, we often consult with other specialists to determine the best course of treatment. When this is necessary, that specialist is usually just down the hall, and the consultation is often immediate. At Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, specialists in Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Adult and Adolescent Urology, Vascular Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery, Gastroenterology, ENT, Neurology, and Radiology are available at a moments notice to provide consultation or treatment as needed. When treatment by one of these specialists is needed, complete details of your child's medical history are readily available.

We recognize that illness does not always come at a convenient time. Therefore, using our group coverage, we are "on call 24 hours a day, 365 days per year." We offer weekend hours for sick children every Saturday and Sunday morning. MMC Pediatrics is open Monday through Friday 8-5, with Saturday and Sunday hours available for sick children scheduled through our after- hours triage service.

Because we are the largest pediatric and adolescent medical group in Middle Tennessee, a member of our group is always available to see your child when illness occurs. The advantages of a large group means that, when a second opinion is needed, a member of our physician staff is just moments away
