ABOUT

Allison is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner across the lifespan. She provides medication management and psychotherapeutic services for children and adolescents, and education for their families. She has also worked with geriatric patients and their families as they navigate the challenges of dementia. Allison lived and worked with vulnerable children in rural Honduras for more than ten years, providing medical and psychiatric services to children suffering from trauma and separation from their biological families. She speaks fluent Spanish and some French. 

Allison cofounded a nonprofit Christian development organization, Mission Lazarus, in 2003. While living in Honduras, she raised two children and managed three medical clinics and five children's homes. Her most recent project with the organization was the opening of a bilingual K-12 academy for underserved children and adolescents. Originally from Murfreesboro, she returns to her hometown after a thirty-year hiatus living in several states and countries around the world. 

Allison enjoys reading, cooking, sewing, playing tennis, spending time with friends, and travelling. She has two children, Sol and Levi, whom she admires greatly for their resilience and fortitude. She is grateful to God for his faithfulness in all situations.
